Abstract :

This work examines on the basis of psychoanalytical approaches, vengeance and trauma in Chris Cleave’s Incendiary with the aim of highlighting that terrorism is a traumatic conflict that feeds on the ideology of vengeance. The exploration of Chris Cleave’s Incendiary allows affirming that terrorism stems from deep-seated grievances and a desire for revenge.
